Tiffany Lopez-Vargas, Assistant Director
Tiffany Lopez-Vargas was born and raised in the farming community of Brawley, California.
Ms. Vanessa began dancing folklorico when she was 8 years old in Tucson, AZ. She was mentored by Maestra Bernal while in elementary school and Maestra Beltran at Pistor Middle School.
During her time at Tucson High School she was part of the performing group Los Tucsonenses under the direction of Maestra Cardenas.
She has been a participant in the Tucson Mariachi Conference, the ANGF (Asociación Nacional de Grupos Folklóricos) conference in Guadalajara, Mexico and Phoenix, AZ and Danzantes Unidos in Fresco, CA.
Maestra Gutierrez taught folklorico at Borton Ementary School for two years and joined the Ballet Folklorico Esperanza Family in 2016. Here she gained more teaching experience from Maestra Torres, Maestro De La Cruz and Maestra Galindo.
Each week she looks forward to watching her students grow, develop their dance skills, and shine at performances. Her class motto is “Do Your Best, Smile, and Have Fun!” She is thankful for the support of her husband, her family, the BFE directors, parent volunteers, students, and their families.
